Developing and evolving Volvo’s Business Centre Programme

 

Volvo was born in a great wave of Swedish innovation and founded around a simple principle.  To use technology to continuously improve people’s lives, with safety and sustainability as part of their DNA.  Since 1927, their global headquarters has remained in its hometown, Gothenburg, Sweden. Volvo’s legacy has spanned globally, marketing its premium SUVs, Estates, and Saloon cars across over 100 nations, with production sites spanning Sweden, Belgium, the US, and China.

 

For nearly a decade, our association with Volvo Car UK has been fortified through the Business Centre Programme we run for them. This partnership stands as a testament to our expertise, infrastructure, and the adeptness with which we continuously meet the ever-evolving demands of the programme.

Always in pursuit of refining best practices, we’ve fostered a malleable solution that not only meets, but also adapts to the shifting tides of business and fleet sales.

This adaptability was most notably showcased when we supported Volvo during its shift towards a direct consumer-facing model with a robust digital framework, which has already reaped remarkable sales and appreciative feedback, especially from its SME solutions.

 

In its endeavour to morph into the most amiable premium car brand for business, Volvo Fleet Sales underwent a transformation since 2018. The objective of the Volvo Car Business Centres is to bolster Volvo Car UK’s sales to the fleet sector. This involves proactive sales outreach, spotting potential growth avenues, retain and growing existing accounts, and acquiring new Fleet & Business clients. The VCBCs 18 strong team is dedicated to generating great quality leads and appointments for SME and Large Corporate Sales teams and catering for all the administration needs of the sales & leasing teams, customers and retail partners. 

 

Our partnership has hit several milestones. Post the CRM transition in late 2018, the database experienced a surge, expanding from 11,000 refined accounts to an impressive 29,000, each poised for future engagements.

In the post-COVID era (from 2021), our endeavours have culminated in generating 8,635 leads & appointments, with Volvo clinching nominations for three consecutive years under the 'Most Improved Manufacturer' category at the Fleet News Awards.
